Desalination
The importance of seawater and brackish water as viable sources for drinking water has been steadily increasing with each passing year.
At present, there are roughly 16,000 operational desalination plants situated in 177 countries, either using reverse osmosis (RO), multi state flash evaporation (MSF) or multi-effect distillation (MED), responsible for generating an estimated 95 million cubic meters of fresh water per day.
TALIS has equipped numerous desalination plants all over the world with high-quality valves which reliably perform their task for a long time. Dealing with special requirements (such as high TDS levels, and/or high temperature seawater) and complex installations is one of the strengths of our research and development teams. The high reliability of TALIS products reduces the risks connected with large scale installations and thus ensures a successful and economic on-time completion of the project.
